Huntsman Advanced Materials has invested $2 million to upgrade its R&D laboratories in Basel, Switzerland. New equipment installed at the site includes an X-ray tomograph for nondestructive testing of adhesives and polymers and a casting machine (shown) that allows customers to evaluate new resins.
