Eastman Plastic Used In New Pacifier

Eastman Chemical’s Tritan copolyester is being used in the Keep-It-Kleen pacifier recently introduced by the firm RaZbaby. The pacifier has a spring-loaded mechanism that protects the nipple when a baby drops it on the ground. Eastman says Tritan is being increasingly sought by makers of bottles and other infant products as a bisphenol-A-free alternative to polycarbonate.
