A $37 million biotechnology company incubator called Nine has opened in the Edinburgh BioQuarter, a public-private life sciences center outside Edinburgh, Scotland. With 85,000 sq ft of lab and office space, Nine is intended to house established and start-up biotech firms, some of which may be spin-offs of the University of Edinburgh, BioQuarter officials say.
