DuPont Building Innovations, which manufactures Tyvek weatherization products and Corian and Zodiaq countertop materials, has reduced its annual landfill waste to zero from 81 million lb in 2009. The would-be waste includes manufacturing by-products, scraps, and construction debris. All of the material is now recycled into new products or used as filler in concrete.
