Styrolution resins make DAF Truck components shatter-, impact-, and UV-resistant.

A new series of commercial vehicles from Netherlands-based DAF Trucks uses styrene acrylonitrile copolymers for the truck cabin and related parts. Styrolution, which supplies the polymers for the cabin of the XF 106 series, says its Luran resins stand up to environmental degradation, and they don’t splinter and fly apart in the event of a crash.
