Sirrus And Elmer’s Plan Novel Glues

The adhesives chemistry start-up Sirrus has formed a partnership with Elmer’s Products, maker of Elmer’s glue, to develop consumer products using 1,1-disubstituted alkenes being commercialized by Sirrus. Founded in 2009, Ohio-based Sirrus seeks to add adhesives based on disubstituted alkenes to the arsenal of glues already used by consumers and industry.
