LG Chem has developed an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panel with performance that competes with conventional LED lights. LG’s new OLED light panel has a brightness of 100 lumens per watt, compared with competing OLED lights that can only achieve 60 lumens, the company claims. It adds that the new OLED lights can remain in operation for 40,000 hours.
