BASF Sets R&D Center In Mumbai

BASF will spend $62 million in Mumbai to set up its second-largest Asian R&D center. Located in the suburb of Navi Mumbai, the 20,000-m2 facility will be able to host as many as 300 scientists when it’s completed in 2017. The facility will focus on crop protection, process development, and polymer research. The company’s largest R&D center in Asia is in Shanghai.
