Taulman3D has developed a new filament for three-dimensional printing, called T-lyne, made using DuPont’s Surlyn resin. Taulman says the ionomer is suited to prosthetics because parts made using the polymer can be fine-tuned upon reheating. The firm says Surlyn, used on the outer coating of golf balls, is also very durable.
