Ashland has spent $400,000 on a 185-m2 addition to its paints and coatings analytical and technical center in Wilmington, Del. Now 930 m2, the center can support customer paint trials ranging from small-scale screens to simulated field applications, according to Ashland. The company makes paint ingredients including rheology modifiers and surfactants.
