The specialty chemical maker Archroma has opened a surface and coating technology center at its lab in Bradford, England. The company says the center will develop barrier and surface coatings for food and other packaging. “Consumers are looking for safe, convenient, and sustainable packaging,” says Beate Plueckhan, head of Archroma’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa business.
