AkzoNobel boosts R&D in Houston

AkzoNobel has completed a three-year, $3.5 million expansion of its paint research site in Houston. The site, which employs 40 scientists, supports research in protective, marine, and specialty coatings. The firm recently revealed plans to build a $13.2 million coatings research hub in Felling, England.
