Hexion sells additives technology business

The thermoset resins maker Hexion has sold its additives technology business to Münzing Chemie, a specialty additives firm in Abstatt, Germany. The $50 million price includes intellectual property covering catalysts, release agents, and wetting agents used to make engineered wood, laminates, and other products. The deal also includes plants in Australia and Malaysia.—.
