Mitsubishi acquires German electronics service firm Cleanpart

Mitsubishi Chemical has struck a deal to acquire Cleanpart Group, a German provider of cleaning and coating services for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Based in Asperg, Germany, Cleanpart has more than 400 employees. Mitsubishi says its Shinryo subsidiary offers similar services. Cleanpart sold a medical cleaning business last year.
