Idemitsu to make OLED materials in China

Japan’s Idemitsu Kosan will set up an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) raw materials facility in Chengdu, southwest China. The project is capitalized at $13 million, Idemitsu says, and production will start within the next two years. Demand for OLED materials is growing rapidly in China, the firm notes, spurred by the construction of several OLED display plants.
