Cambrex expands Snapdragon flow chemistry facility

The drug services firm Cambrex has completed an expansion of Snapdragon Chemistry’s facility in Waltham, Massachusetts. It added 24 process R&D hoods, a fifth kilogram-scale lab for continuous-flow processing, and other units. Cambrex acquired Snapdragon, a specialist in flow chemistry for pharmaceutical chemical production, in January. Cambrex says it is also adding flow chemistry capabilities at its plant in High Point, North Carolina.
