Sterling Pharma's facility was built in the 1960s by Sterling Drug.

Sterling Pharma Solutions will spend $13 million to add process development labs and commercial-scale manufacturing equipment for pharmaceutical chemicals at its site in Dudley, England. The project includes adding a 4.5 m3 hydrogenator. Kilogram-scale labs equipped for biocatalysis will also be added to the Materials Science Centre that Sterling opened at the Dudley site last year.
