Wanhua moves on polyurethanes project

Chinese petrochemical maker Wanhua Chemical is moving forward with plans to build a giant methylene diphenyl diisocyanate project. It has selected Convent, La., as the location to build it. The plant will have an annual capacity of 400,000 metric tons per year of MDI when it comes on-line in 2021.
