Allozymes raises $15 million for enzyme discovery

The start-up Allozymes has raised $15 million in series A funding to continue developing a high-throughput screening process for discovering industrial enzymes. The firm says it’s capable of screening 20 million enzyme variants per day. Allozymes has already developed oxidases, reductases, isomerases, and hydrolases for specialty chemical customers.
