First voyage for green methanol

A Maersk container ship is set to become the first vessel powered by green methanol to complete a voyage.
A new freight ship owned by Maersk has become the first fueled only with green methanol to complete a voyage. Starting in a shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea, the vessel recently docked at the Port of Rotterdam, where it was refueled by OCI Global. The ship will depart for Copenhagen in September for its naming ceremony. OCI makes green methanol via steam reformation of biomethane.
