Nippon Shokubai and the French company Greentech are joining to develop natural cosmetic ingredients in Asia and possibly build a facility in Japan. Greentech extracts ingredients from algae, wild microbial strains, and Brazil’s natural environment. Shokubai will contribute dispersion and stabilization technology. The pair also intends to search for ingredients in Asian plants.
