Covestro upgrades R&D in Japan

Covestro's upgraded lab contains machinery for testing large polyurethane panels.

Covestro has installed a variety of upgrades at its 50-year-old innovation center in Amagasaki City, Japan. Improvements include new injection molding equipment and machinery to prototype large polyurethane panels. The lab has also hired data scientists to help with R&D digitalization projects that include simulation and automation.
