Industrial robot firm raises $50 million

The Swiss firm ANYbotics has raised $50 million in a series B financing round that had participation from Aramco Ventures and other investors. ANYbotics makes robots for inspecting oil and gas, chemical, and other industrial facilities. The company says that BASF, Petronas, Shell, and Vale are already using its robots and that it has another $150 million in orders for its systems.
