IFF Sniffs Out Ottens Purchase

International Flavors & Fragrances has agreed to acquire Henry H. Ottens Manufacturing, a flavor ingredients producer based in Philadelphia. Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded more than 130 years ago, Ottens will strengthen IFF’s operations in the U.S., says Matthias Haeni, head of IFF’s flavors group. Ottens posted 2014 sales of about $60 million.
