Air Liquide says it is in exclusive negotiations to sell its Schülke & Mayr subsidiary, a maker of antiseptic lotions and other medical hygiene products, to the Swedish private equity firm EQT. Air Liquide disclosed in November that it was seeking a buyer for Schülke & Mayr. Media reports suggest the sale price could be up to $1.1 billion. The business has its headquarters in Germany; production sites in Brazil, France, and Germany; and over 1,250 employees.
